Arrival

Hannover airport is accessible from several European airports as Munich, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Paris, London, etc. furthermore there is a direct link to Warsaw. From the airport, a suburban train (S5) directly connects to Hannover Main Station, which is also well connected to most major cities by long distance train. The nearest subway stations to the conference hotel are “Aegidientorplatz” and “Waterloo”. The closest bus station “HDI-Arena” (see also: https://www.marriott.com/hotels/maps/travel/hajcy-courtyard-hannover-maschsee/).

Please note, that due to the beginning of the Maschsee Lake Festival the access to the hotel by car may be limited or only possible by detour. Public transport is not affected by this.

There is no fixed guest program planned, as there are plenty of different opportunities in and around Hannover. A ticket for public transport is included in your guest registration, so you can easily reach destinations in and around Hannover. A short summery of possible activities is given below.

Nature

About 20 km away from Hannover the Deister, a range of hills invites to unwind and enjoy the silence in its forests. The Bison Reserve can also be found in the Deister, too (see: https://www.wisentgehege-springe.de/images/UEBER-UNS/Wisengehege_Imagefolder2014_engl_DS_web.pdf ).
